Small business tax preparation
We prepare business tax returns for sole proprietors, LLCs, partnerships, S corporations and C corporations.
Our clients include contractors, construction companies, auto shops, real estate agents and investors, farms and any other small business.
For Pennsylvania businesses, we also file local business privilege and mercantile tax returns. Send us the forms from your city or township.
If you want help during the year, our tax planning plans include your returns.
Personal income tax preparation
We prepare individual and joint income tax returns for W-2 employees, retirees, investors and the self-employed.
That includes returns with rental properties, a property sale or a 1031 exchange.
Tax preparation for seniors and retirees
The IRS taxes part of Social Security for many retirees. New Jersey and Pennsylvania don't tax Social Security, and both treat pensions and IRA withdrawals differently from the IRS.
Estate, trust and nonprofit tax returns
If you're the executor of an estate, we prepare the final personal return and the estate's income tax return (Form 1041). We also prepare returns for trusts and nonprofit organizations.
New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York tax returns
We prepare federal, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York returns, including Pennsylvania local earned income tax returns.
If you live in New Jersey and work in Pennsylvania, or vice versa, your wages are usually taxed only by your home state. Easton's local tax, self-employment income and rental property don't follow that rule. Our New Jersey and Pennsylvania cross-border tax help page explains how it works.

Frequently Asked Questions
Anyone with a preparer number from the IRS can prepare tax returns for pay. A CPA is licensed by the state, has passed the CPA exam, keeps up continuing education and can represent you before the IRS on any tax matter. Both of our partners are CPAs.
It depends on having everything. Brokerage forms often arrive in late February, and partners and S corporation shareholders wait on their K-1. The fastest way through is to bring us everything at once.
An extension gives you until October 15 to file your personal return, but not more time to pay, so any tax you expect to owe is still due April 15. Extensions are common, especially when you're waiting on a K-1.
Yes. We prepare prior-year and amended returns, and we can catch you up on years you haven't filed. If the IRS or the state has sent you a letter, bring it with you.
For calendar-year businesses, partnership and S corporation returns are due March 15, and C corporation returns are due April 15. A six-month extension moves them to September 15 and October 15. When a date falls on a weekend or holiday, it moves to the next business day.
